| Maw Maw Lin & Paw Paw Bip's visit |
Maw Maw Lin & Paw Paw Bip (Scott's parents for those of you who don't know!) came out to stay with us due to the dire predictions about Hurricane Gustav around the New Orleans area. Fortunately, the storm was much milder than predicted & they were able to stay a few extra days since they didn't have to rush back to check on their house. They brought their pups, Bogie & Birdie (can you tell they're a golfing family???), and the boys had so much fun playing with them. We went apple picking at Eckert's, a farm just down the road from us, and the boys had a BLAST. They were able to sit on tractors & "drive", they played some mini-golf with help from Paw-Paw Bip, and there was an old-timey truck that they loved to climb on. Paw Paw Bip also was able to take care of some things around the house for me. (Check out the post from Sept 7!) Can they come back soon???????? **Be sure to click the pic for lots more**
