On day 2, we started at Disney Hollywood Studios. Honestly, there wasn't much my boys were too interested in, other than the Buzz Lightyear ride. DHS has a lot of shows & while they love to sit & watch TV at home, it just wasn't cutting it at Disneyworld. To quote William, "Mommy, I'm tired of this Disneyworld. I'm ready to go back to the CASTLE Disneyworld!" Here are a few snaps from the Buzz ride:
Look at these eyes! Poor little guy just wasn't feeling well:
Lovin' Mr. Potato head. He talked & made jokes about the people waiting in line!
Silly 3-D glasses for Buzz ride. All kinds of things fly at you as you try to shoot them. My boys LOVED it!!
And, then the other HUGE attraction at DHS--
McQueen & Mater!!! Here are the guys nervously waiting their turn for pictures with them:
And, then the pictures. Daniel wouldn't take his hands off of McQueen! We practically had to drag him away.
We had dinner at Mama Melrose in DHS on night 2 as part of the "Fantasmic Package". I'd highly recommend that package if you can get it. Hollywood & Vine also takes part. You get a much fancier dinner than you would with just the dining plan and you also get a voucher allowing you to get right into the Fantasmic light show & sit in a special section. This basicallly means that you get a nicer dinner AND you don't have to wait in line for the show. You can walk in 10 min before showtime & get a seat. Here are a few random pics from dinner:
***New pics added from my parents' stuff***
Here is William just after his "big scary elevator ride" (Yes, my 4 year old rode The Tower of Terror!!). His only comment, apparently, was, "Daddy, why does it keep going down & then back up?" My brave little man!
And, some pics from the Fantasmic show. Again, it was SOO worth seeing!
Might be a little scary for some younger kids, tho! Ours were too tired by that point to pay much attention!!
