Day 4 of farm madness

Since Colin went to bed at his usual 7 o'clock last night, he was up around 6:30, but I had acclimated to the time change, so it wasn't too rough. And, the big boys were so tired from all their activity that I was able to sneak out of the room without waking either one of them. An extra half-hour for the two of them is like magic!!

This morning, it was more running around the yard & hopping in the swimming pool. William was again asking to swim without his vest, so I got my swimsuit on & hopped in with them. He did great sliding down the slide & then swimming over to the ladder to climb out. Maybe this will be the summer the vest can go by the wayside! Unfortunately, I was occupied, so no pics of my little swimmer-boy. Then Dawn had the idea to pack a picnic lunch, hit a nearby park, and play putt-putt. Unfortunately, putt-putt didn't open until 1, so we had to promise the kiddos to come back after naps. (Any form of bribery to get a nap is wonderful in my book!) Here are the snaps from the park. There was a frog on one of the putt-putt holes that Colin LOVED! We had a very hard time getting him off of it:

And, all the boys and Mommy hopped in for a picture:

Everyone went back to the house for naps & after dinner, we headed back over there to play putt-putt. It was my kids' first experience & they had a blast! Here's my little lefty trying to figure it out.

And, William. He and Drew got to go ahead of all the other kids & he thought he was so big. Drew is like his big brother & they go back & forth between idolization and fighting like siblings!! They were too cute playing putt-putt together:
